The Outpost marked her first major part in the US because her earlier movies were from Australia. Jessica's mix martial art skills and horseback riding capabilities and athletic skills allow her to perform stunts portraying the tough woman. Jessica has been trained in boxing as well as muay Thai in Australia and has also been practicing at a mixed martial art gym. Jake Stormoen was working on the Season 4 set when he encountered a dog that was wandering around. The stray dogs had occupied the location. Jessica fostered at least two puppies.
