Rene Marie Russo (born Rene Marie Russo) is an American film actress, model and filmmaker. Her elegant and beautiful beauty Marie is reflected throughout her career as a performer and actress. In the 70s the model began her career. She quickly established herself as one of the top names in this field. She was a theatre and acting student at the start of the decade. She then appeared on stage at Los Angeles, and other parts of California. Russo first made her television debut on ABCs Sable in the role of Eden Kendell, in 1987. Two years later she played Tom Berengers love interest in her first movie Major League. Some critics initially doubted her ability as an actor, but her consistent performances won them over. They particularly loved her performance in Wolfgang Petersens Outbreak in which she held herself against the likes that of Dustin Hoffman and Morgan Freeman. In her own words, she has never been passionate in acting. She was forced to take a break for a while. Then she returned with a role in the movie about superheroes Thor. Also, she was in the Oscar winning film Nightcrawler, directed by her husband. The Intern followed, as did Just Getting Started.
Rose Namajunas has been one of the UFC's most well-known female athletes. Her career began in amateur fighting, participating in regional competitions before signing with Invicta Fighting Championships and later becoming a member of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Thanks to her accomplishments both inside and beyond the Octagon, Namajunas has become a household word since joining UFC. Namajunas's family are Lithuanian as was her birthplace on the 29th of June in 1992. Rose played basketball and kickboxing throughout her childhood. Her first appearance as a professional at the age of 18 in the Invicta Fighting Championships, where she won two fights via submission. Dana White noticed this and in December 2014, aged 22 she signed her to fight as a strawweight for UFC. Rose has been through the highs and lows of her career. However, she's always come out the winner. Rose was a part of Carla Esparza to win the Women s Strawweight Championship in The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale. Rose won with a technical knockout that lasted just three minutes of the round One. Rose was also named Fighter Of The Night and made history as it marked the first time that a woman had ever competed in a tournament with a major promoter worldwide. Namajunas was able to win several bouts following this victory, including defeating Joanna Jedrzejczyk on two occasions. It brought Namajunas Performance Of The Night accolades from UFC.
